Unfortunately I cannot delete my previous review so I will post this updated one. The defective bag was replaced quickly with no questions asked. The bag is surprisingly light in comparison to it's size, keeps food and drinks cool for about 3 days (possibly more, haven't tested it yet). The removable top compartment is useful for storing plates, small pans and other stuff.

FAQ

The bag offers a combined 38L of storage — a 30L main compartment (45cm x 32cm x 31cm) for food and drinks, plus a detachable 8L upper compartment (45cm x 32cm x 6cm) for cooking equipment.

The Hydra Cooler Bag uses a high-performance dual insulation system that combines an air chamber with insulating foam. This helps maintain temperature effectively, keeping your food and drinks cold during long sessions on the bank.

Yes — the 8L upper unit is fully detachable, so you can remove it when it's not needed or use it independently to keep your cooking gear such as a stove, plates, mugs, or pans close to hand.

Absolutely. The bag is made from 100% waterproof EVA, which makes it very easy to wash down — a simple wipe or rinse is all that's needed to keep it clean.

The bag weighs 2.88kg, which is impressively light given its 38L total capacity and robust EVA construction.

Yes — the Hydra Cooler Bag is part of Forge Tackle's Hydra waterproof luggage range, all made from the same high-quality EVA material, so it pairs perfectly with other bags in the collection for a matching, coordinated setup on the bank.
