FAQ

The Snake-Bite combines an extremely durable coating with what is claimed to be the most supple core on the market, giving you the best of both worlds — toughness and a natural, lifelike presentation that carp find hard to resist.

Coated hooklinks are designed to be stripped back near the hook, and the highly supple core of the Snake-Bite makes it particularly well suited to this technique, allowing for a more natural movement on the hair and hook section.

The extremely durable coating on the Snake-Bite is built to handle tough conditions, making it a solid choice for fishing in and around weed, gravel, or light snags where abrasion resistance matters.

Coated hooklinks are versatile and work brilliantly with a wide range of rigs, including the popular hinged stiff rig, chod-style presentations, and standard bottom-bait or pop-up setups. The supple core is especially effective when stripped back for D-rigs or knotless knot arrangements.

Absolutely — the Snake-Bite Coated Hooklink has a long-standing heritage, with generations of carp hunters having relied on it, and it has now been updated and improved for modern angling demands.
